Will Guild Wars 2 be more Science Fiction based? - Page 2 - Guild Wars Forums

About one year ago, I read a post by Gaile (or some other dev, cant remember), confirming that the future of GW could turn a bit more to SF, with guns and stuff. But only if the community wants it. It was in the sardelac suggestions forum, since someone posted a gun-slinger and got flamed for it.

I guess they listened after all.

And by the way, Asurans fire their guns with the help of magic, apparently. So its thill fantasy themed. And most Dwarves in fantasy games have guns/muskets. Look at Arcanum, Warcraft, Dungeon Siege (goblins).

Asuras firing guns? Where the heck are you people getting this from? The article mentions Asuras crafting weapons but it doesnt say guns. Unless you're getting this from a different source, I say you're only guessing.

It's obvious, they say Asuras are the most hi-tech race next to Dwarves or other way around. And they Craft Weapons. So using you'r common Sense if the humans already have Gunpowder and Cannons and Asuras and Dwarves are the most hi-tech why would they have no guns?

Reffering to Hi-Tech in thier time not our's like Guns and more.
Our's are Robots, Computer and More.

I asked something like this in a thread people were complaining about it. But in that thread I was just suggesting. Cause I was gonna make a CC about it but people say guns won't work so instead of guns I made Maguns check my Alchemist.
